This product is a multi-function USB with a network connector, usable with Macbook, Ultrabook laptops and desktop computers. Plug & Play functionality allows you to connect your PC to an Ethernet (LAN) network, expanding two high-speed USB 2.0 ports to connect USB devices. It also includes slots for SD/M2/TF memory cards. Powered directly through the USB connector, it can also be powered externally with a 5V adapter. It is compatible with Windows 98Me/2000/2003/XP/Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.3/10.4/10.5/10.6/10.7 (Lion) and Linux 2.4 or later versions. Drivers must be installed before using the device on Windows and Linux interfaces, but are not necessary for Mac OS.
